Lent Day 19

Jeremiah 2: 13

My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.

REFLECTION

Withdrawing of support and companionship from someone.  This means we are to help each other, not to give up on them. I have to do a better job of giving support and companionship.

Why are we not helping these people who need caring and support?

PRAYER

Dear Lord, teach us how we can be good companions and how we can support these people to have better lives.

FAITH IN ACTION 

If someone cannot get out on their own, take them where they have to go.
