At Seymour Congregational Church, we believe kids and teens are not just the future of the church—they’re a vital part of who we are right now. We offer age-appropriate programs that help children and youth explore faith, ask big questions, build community, and have fun.
Sunday Mornings
During Worship at 10 AM
We believe worship is for all ages—and that includes our youngest ones!

Prayground: A quiet play area set up in the sanctuary for children in worship. It includes soft toys, coloring, and activities to help little ones engage at their level while staying connected to the church community.

Children’s Message: Kids are invited to the front for a short, interactive message just for them.

Children’s Church: After the message, children are welcome to join a fun, faith-filled time with crafts, Bible stories, and activities—or they may stay in worship with their families.

Nursery Care: Available for infants and toddlers throughout the service.
👉 All volunteers are background-checked and trained to provide a safe, welcoming environment.

Throughout the year, we offer engaging events to help families connect and kids grow in faith:

Backpack Blessing – August: Bring your backpack to worship for a back-to-school blessing.

Holy Mischief Adventures – Seasonal acts of kindness and fun faith challenges.

Lenten & Advent Activity Kits – Take-home bags filled with devotions, crafts, and reflections.

Easter & Christmas Family Services – Interactive worship that includes all ages.

Confirmation
Our Confirmation program is a time of discovery, faith exploration, and spiritual growth for youth who are ready to take the next step in their faith journey.

Confirmation Sunday is a celebration of each student's decision to affirm their faith and become a full member of the church.
Youth Group
Our Youth Group is a space for fun, friendship, and faith in action! We gather regularly for:

Connecting with peers and mentors in a safe, welcoming space
