Lent Day 24

Isaiah 42:14-16

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.

REFLECTION

This scripture speaks to how God is there for us no matter the challenges we face, and that sometimes that Divine guidance will take us in directions we may not have expected.  Have faith and trust that God will show you the way, and that the way you travel has Divine purpose.   Be open to the possibility that in having faith in God, you may find yourself traveling on paths you would never have seen coming, but he will not guide you wrong and you are never alone.

PRAYER

Lord, allow me to trust in you and your Divine guidance, especially when I have doubt and fear with the path that I am on.  May my darkness turn into light and may I feel your ever-loving presence and guidance in all that I do.

FAITH IN ACTION

Say out loud, “I trust in you Lord” and truly listen to and feel those words in your heart.

DAILY GRATITUDE

Take a moment to name one thing you are grateful for today.

BIBLE NOTE: Prophetic books often blend comfort with challenge.
