Lent Day 6
Hebrews 4:15-16
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
REFLECTION
This scripture is a message of comfort and reassurance. It made me feel an intimacy and closeness between God and everyone.
It assures me of the empathy and understanding that Jesus has towards our weaknesses - that we are not perfect - and that I will always receive His mercy and grace.
This scripture is a message of hope and redemption reminding me that no matter what I may be going through, I can always turn to God for compassion and strength. It reminds me of the grace and forgiveness that I can find with my relationship with Jesus. I should remember to hold firmly to my faith at all times.
