Lent Day 2

Psalm 51:10-12

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.  Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. 

REFLECTION

A plea for redemption and renewal of spirit.  We are not above wrongdoing or evil thoughts spoken in mind or out loud.  Help us to see both sides of the issue before taking issue for or against issues. He is always with us and will help us to do the right thing.  Do not take your holy spirit from me . I have had wrong thoughts about people and issues, Only to later see or hear another side or see a different person evolve in action or words.

CONSIDER

The Lord sees us and knows our weaknesses. Let us all know when to forgive and to rethink a decision before condemning or not agreeing with a final answer.

PRAYER

 To forgive  is divine. We are all human and make wrong decisions .
