Lent Day 15
Ephesians 2:17-20
He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.
REFLECTION
In this letter to the Ephesians, Paul is stating that all are equal in the eyes of God and in the land of God. Jesus is the cornerstone, and each of us are the bricks building on the foundation of the prophets and apostles (The Message Bible). With this foundation and cornerstone, it means that in order to build anything that is strong, each brick/stone (us) would need to be made of love- the essence of the ministry of Christ.

CONSIDER
What are the times when it is difficult to be made of love? How is a way found back to love?
PRAYER
Holy of holies-Fill us with your Love. From the wombs that birthed each one of us into the world, and the channels of hope that we embody as individuals, midwifing your realm on earth, as it is in Heaven: Let love be the guiding force for our relationship to our bodies, ourselves, our neighbors, our world. Let love flow forth in reckless abundance, and let it begin with me. Amen.
