Many voices. One journey. Shared daily in print and email.
Each year during Lent, our church gathers around Scripture through a shared daily devotional—written by members of our own community and offered as a way to pause, reflect, and practice faith in everyday life.
Beginning on Ash Wednesday, our Daily Lenten Devotionals will be shared in two ways:
as a printed booklet for those who prefer a physical copy
as a daily email sent throughout the Lenten season
This year’s devotional also gently invites readers to grow in confidence with the Bible. Alongside each day’s reflection, you’ll find brief context notes, simple Bible skill tips, and a daily practice—designed to support curiosity, not perfection.
Written by Our Community
Reflections are written by people across our church—offering honest, personal responses to Scripture. Contributors are invited to share:
a short reflection
a reflection question
a brief prayer
a simple faith-in-action suggestion
You do not need to be a Bible expert to participate. These devotionals are about listening for how Scripture speaks into real life, right where we are.
How to Participate
Readers: Sign up to receive the daily devotional by email or pick up a printed copy at church on Ash Wednesday.
Writers: If you’re interested in contributing a reflection, please email the main office office@seymourct.church
As Lent approaches, we look forward to walking this journey together—one day, one scripture, one shared practice at a time.
